Guided hike with snow shoes, Tuesdays and Thursdays 2025
In the summer, we and our partners offer snowshoe tours. You can read about the visitor center's (naturum) guided tours below. If these dates or times do not suit you, visit one of our partners, link below. Sign up to participate.
About the activity
We leave the safety of the path and venture out into the wetland. Here we encounter sphagnum mosses, carnivorous plants, birds, and much more from the flora and fauna of the bog.

Equipment
Dress according to the weather. Out on the bog, there is little protection from sun and rain. A sunny day often gets very hot and a rainy day very wet. A hat and somewhat waterproof shoes are always good to have. Ruber boots are nice on very wet days, but seldom necessary. Don't forget your swimwear and binoculars.
Remember to bring water for the whole hike, as there are no places to refill your water bottle. On the longer trips we help carry lunch and coffee together, so save some space in your backpack.
