Here’s some practical info that’s good to know before your visit to Nämdöskärgården National Park.
Nämdöskärgården National Park is located out in the archipelago, so you’ll need to take a boat to get there.
During peak season, regular boat services run from Stavsnäs Vinterhamn to the national park. There are two lines: the Bullerö line goes to Bullerö and Rågskär, and the Nämdö line goes to Skogavik on Braka.
Boats vary in size, so if you need space for a pushchair, wheelchair or similar, it’s a good idea to ask in advance.
Boat Taxi
You can also book a boat taxi to reach the smaller islands in the national park. Several companies offer boat taxi services in the area. Some islands have jetties for getting ashore, but most often the boat will dock by the rocks.
You’ll find information about other ferry companies operating from Stavsnäs Vinterhamn on Värmdö Municipality’s website.
Stavsnäs Vinterhamn
Stavsnäs Vinterhamn is located on Värmdö. You can get there by bus from Slussen in Stockholm, or by car. There’s a large car park by the harbour.
