About Skuleskogen National Park
In Skuleskogen you will find one of the few remaining old forests along the coast. Here you can hike for days, enjoy lush streamside forests, or walk out onto the barren rock surfaces and be captivated by the magnificent views. The national park has several tens of kilometres of hiking trails and many rest areas, tent sites and open overnight cabins.
The park is known for Slåttdalsskrevan, with its 40‑metre‑high vertical rock walls. From Slåttdalsberget, you can enjoy the fine views over the surrounding landscape.
The oldest shoreline in Skuleskogen is found at about 282 metres above the present sea level.
