Here you’ll find information about overnight options in and around Abisko National Park.
In Abisko, you have several possibilities if you want to stay overnight.
Camping
If you prefer to camp, you can set up your tent at one of the designated camping areas:
- at the main entrance, managed by the Swedish Tourist Association (STF). The reception is located at the tourist station.
- at Nissonjåhka, five kilometres south of the main entrance along the Kungsleden trail.
- at the Abiskojaure cabin site.
Camping is not allowed anywhere other than at the designated sites.
There are no pitches or campsites for motorhome or caravans in this area. Camping is not allowed in the long‑stay car park designated for cars.
Accommodation and cabins
The Swedish Tourist Association (STF) runs various accommodation options near the national park’s main entrance. They also operate the cabin site at Abiskojaure in the southern part of the national park.

There are additional accommodation options in the villages of Abisko, Björkliden, Katterjokk and Riksgränsen. Kiruna Lapland Tourist Centre provides more information about different alternatives.
