The Store Mosse National Park Association was formed in 1996 and is a non-profit association completely independent of the County Administrative Board and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.
It is a place to engage in a wide range of areas of interest, such as ornithology, botany, insects, geology, local history, photography, hiking, wilderness and other things related to nature, culture and environmental protection - with a special focus on the national park.
The association has monthly meetings and often arranges lectures and hikes. Examples of activities are scythe mowing, guided tours and trail building.
More information about the association's activities, current programmes and membership can be found on the association's website.
