Blådöpet runt

Blådöpet (the blue mire) is a wet and blue marshland that drains Lake Kalvasjön further east. This roundtour hike takes you along Blådöpet and into the forest in the southern parts of the national park, where there are usually fewer visitors and a great sense of wilderness.

The trail starts from Lövö, follows the raised bog southwards and then turns into the swamp forest and turns towards Lövö along Lövövägen. Sit down on one of the benches along the route and enjoy the silence. Apart from the bird concert of course, which is loud during spring and early summer. The little snipe flies here during late spring evenings.
