The trail is a connection between Kävsjön runt and Svartgölsleden and is mostly through forest, but you can also walk out onto the raised bog to Svartgölen.
On the western side of Östra Rockne runt you pass a small body of water with a bench where you can pause and admire the dragonflies.
Parts of the trail are a narrower forest path with tree roots.
