The first part of the trail is outside the national park. Inside the park, the trail follows the old shoreline of the lake Häradsösjön. There is a fairly steep slope between the raised bog and the lake. Both cranes and whooper swans nest here. At the end of the trail there is a platform with a view of both the lake and the raised bog.
