During the winter, eagles and other birds of prey are fed in the national park. You can visit the eagle lookout all year round. The lookout is temporarily closed.
You will find the eagle lookout along the gravel road between Kittlakull and Östra Rockne on the south side of the road. The hide is located 400 meters from the feeding place, so you will need binoculars to see well, preferably spotting scopes. You can borrow binoculars and spotting scopes at the visitor center.
The meat that the birds are fed is from game that has been injured by traffic.
