Rules in the park

The national parks exist to protect and preserve the area's natural and cultural values. By following the rules that apply in Store Mosse National Park, you show consideration and care for animals, nature and other visitors.

The Swedish right of public access does not fully apply in Store Mosse National Park. It is prohibited to:

  • damage living or dead trees or shrubs, including breaking off twigs
  • pick or dig up plants, flowers, mosses, lichens and woof-living fungi
  • damage or disturb animal life
  • camp or set up a wind shelter anywhere, except at designated places
  • use a tent or wind shelter more than three nights at the same place
  • light a fire, including BBQs, anywhere except at designated places
  • bring unleashed dogs or other pets
  • park or use a caravan or mobile home between midnight and 6 a.m. anywhere
  • put up signs, posters, marking tape or similar
  • ride, except on roads and in car park
  • launch drones or other aircraft
