Staying in the park

Accommodation options in and around Store Mosse National Park.

In the national park, you may only put up a tent at the designated camping areas. There are several tent sites in the park:

Svänö. A cultural landscape near Kävsjön with a tent site in the Svänö farm environment, close to parking, toilets, barbecue area and resting cabin. Coordinates: 57.316293, 13.973963. In the forest a little south of the farm there is another tent site. The nearest trail is around Kävsjön. Coordinates: 57.3098874, 13.9738425
Lövö. Also Lövö is a cultural landscape but here the tent site is a few hundred meters from the farm environment. In the farm environment there is parking, toilets, barbecue area and resting cabin. The nearest trails are Lövö runt and Naturum-Andersberg, also Blådöpet runt is nearby. Coordinates: 57.2645604,13.8762418
Lilla Lövö. Tent site on an island on solid ground out on the bog. Barbecue area is available. The nearest trail is Lilla Lövö runt. Coordinates: 57.2723204, 13.9070640
Kittlakull. A larger tent site with proximity to parking, toilets and barbecue area. The nearest trail is Naturum-Andersberg. Coordinates: 57.2874578,13.9395962
Skantö. A more secluded tent site that is reached via a hike over the bog where it is good to have snowshoes. The nearest trail is Kävsjön runt. Coordinates: 57.3227240, 13.9736267
Timmerö. This tent site is also a little off the beaten track. It is located on an island on solid ground out on the bog. It is good to have snowshoes to get there. The nearest trail is Lilla Lövö runt. Coordinates: 57.2690424, 13.9119925

Please remember that you may not stay in the same place for more than three nights in a row.
