Rest, eat, sleep
Welcome to use any of our facilities at Söderåsen national park
BBQ sites, tables and benches
There are several BBQ sites in the national park. Bring your own food and cook it in any of the BBQ-sites...
In Skäralid (charcoal required or your own wood) where the visitor centre is, in Nackapsdalen valley near Röstånga (charcoal required or bring your own wood) as well as at the Liagården camp site. At the camp site wood, ax and saw should be available.
If you do make a fire - make sure to put the fire out thoroughly before leaving the area.
You are not allowed to pick twigs, branches or other dead wood from trees or forest floor to make a fire.
You are also forbidden to make a fire in any other place than the prepared and arranged fire places in the national park.
Please note! We follow the Firedepartment NV Skåne for fire hazard levels. When the risk is high (4, 5 or 5E) we will remove axe, saw and wood from all our fire places.
Toilets and water
There are toilets by the Visitor Centre Söderåsen Naturum in Skäralid, at Kopparhatten, in Nackarpsdalen valley and at the Liagården camp site.
Water is available at the Söderåsen Naturum (tap on the wall outdoors) as well as at the Liagården and camp site (weather depending). And at Rårödspågen’s spring (along the nature trail)! Water in the wells and at the spring is not tested.
PLEASE NOTE! that during a dry and warm summer the water levels in our wells can sink or even get dry. There should always be water at the visitor centre in Skäralid.
Please bring your own water - just to be sure.
