Garphyttan National Park
A park full of magnificent floral displays
In spring the deciduous forest floor is covered wall-to-wall with a carpet of hepaticas, wood anemones, cowslips and lilies of the valley. The air is full of floral scents and the intense song of thrushes. The flower-strewn grounds, surrounded by deciduous and coniferous forest, are the work of people. To this day, nature here is protected in keeping with time-honoured traditions. Cultural history and the flowery meadows constitute the park’s foremost values.
Here, you will find everything you need to know before your visit to Garphyttan National Park. When it is best to visit the park, how to get there and the rules you will need to follow once you are there.
