Guided hike with snow shoes, tusedays and thursdays 2023

We leave the safe walking path and enter the swampy bog land. We study peat mosses and have a close encounter with the carnivorous plants of the bog, as well as bird watching and other things we find on the tour. There are three alternatives to choose from:

1 hour try on snowshoes with naturum guides who tell about the bog.

Gathering: The activity takes place on two different occasions, either 11:00 or 12:00 at Svartgölen.

Cost: 100 SEK for adult (over 12 years). Children under the age of twelve go free per paying adult. There are snow shoes in child size. Lunch and coffee are not included.

Dates: 4/7, 8/8, 24/8

An approximately 4 hour guided tour which includes lunch and coffee. The tour starts along the trail Svartgölsleden and then out on the raised bog.

Gathering: 10:45 at the Östra Rockne parking lot.

Cost: 650 SEK for adults (over 12 years). Children under the age of twelve go free per paying adult. There are snow shoes in child size.

An approximately 4 hour guided tour which includes lunch and coffee. The hike starts along the trail Lilla Lövörunt and then out on the raised bog.

Gathering: 10:45 at the footbridge over the railway at Kittlakull.

Dress according to the weather. Out on the bog, there is little protection from sun and rain. A sunny day often gets very hot and a rainy day very wet. A hat and somewhat waterproof shoes are always good to have. Ruber boots are nice on very wet days, but seldom necessary. Don't forget your swimwear and binoculars.

Remember to bring water for the whole hike, as there are no places to refill your water bottle. On the longer trips we help carry lunch and coffee together, so save some space in your backpack.

Payment is made after you have received booking confirmation from us and can be made on site with Swish or by credit card at the visitor center, naturum, before the hike. Alternatively you could make a bank transfer. Mark the payment with "Snowshoe guiding" and the date of the guiding
